One of my clients was shocked to see me with my locs naturally straight this weekend. She was very surprised by the length of my locs. I prefer to have some kinda of curl & body to my locs so I usually don't wear my locs just straight. Unfortunately I didn't get a chance to twist my locs after washing them before my client's appointment. So after I was done with my client I did a 2 Strand twist on small sections all over my head using Taliah Waajid Crinkles & Curls Styling Lotion (I love this stuff!) and since my locs have grown I will just pull the twists back. The next day I wore one of my Tam hats from Da Knitter while I worked. The day after it was time to get to untwisting the 2 strand twists and a twist out was born! :-)
Wow, you look lovely. Will try the two twist strands too.
ReplyDeleteAfter your post about the Da Knitter I went and brought two of them. Still waiting for them to arrive in the mail. I love my hair straight and in curls. I would love to see more picture of your sisterlocks straight.
ReplyDelete@Zar...Thank You Zar! Please post pics on your blog when you do try this! :-)
ReplyDelete@Kreyola...Cool! Please post your Tams when you get I would love to see them! It's not that I don't like wearing my locs straight I just like the fullness when I wear them in a twist out. I have a large head and when I wear them straight my head looks even bigger lol! But I will post pics of me wearing my locs straight in the future. Like always thank you for your comments! :-)
Your twist out is very nice. Great job! :-)
ReplyDeleteThank You Dewdrop! For the last 2 years your blog has inspired me in my Sisterlock Journey. When my locs get longer I'm going to try that gorgeous bun style that you got going! :-)
