I was reading a post from bglhonline.com about what images made you decide or inspired you to go natural? I remember 4 yrs ago when I did the big chop what images inspired me. I put their pictures on my old Fotki album so I went back to that album and paid $25 for access to see those photos once again. Those ladies were Nadia Turner from American Idol fame, the actress T'keyah Keymah, a Nappturality Sistah, and a lady I met at work. The image that inspired my Sisterlocks was a picture of actress Giovonnie Samuels.
I would like to know who inspired you to decide to grow out your natural hair? Who's image continues to help you through your journey?

ReplyDeleteGiovonnie Samuels was also my inspiration on getting sisterlocks as well. As for me to go the natural route, I decided after many struggle with hair perms, that route was better for me.
